This is the question you should be answering. Why is automating the FIDO based authentication a problem? Your assumption is that FIDO is a CAPTCHA replacement. However if you had correctly identified that CAPTCHA is worthless, then we could be having a meaningful conversation.

Automating FIDO is irrelevant. Good on CloudFlare for discontinuing the ridiculous use of CAPTCHA.
