I'm struggling a bit with this article. The premise of which is "Dates are absolutely necessary" requires justifying that in the article. But there is no information about why dates are necessary. Further, Without it, we can just as easily conclude dates are unnecessary. Therefore a better article would be how to have the right conversation rather than wasting time talking about dates.
